John Kiemele, PhD, has over twenty years of experience assisting individuals and congregations with their spiritual development, from the plains of South Dakota to the urban shores of Vancouver, British Columbia. In addition to his role at the Lifestyle Medicine Center, he serves as director of adult spiritual formation at Harbor Covenant Church and is founder and director of the Selah Center, a community-based contemplative prayer retreat center in Gig Harbor.
Recognizing the influence of the spiritual dimension on a person's total health, Dr. Kiemele strives to create a safe, encouraging environment where all individuals can feel heard and personally companioned on their spiritual journey.
